DAY 1

Kilimanjaro Gran Meliá Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport by scheduled flight (flight booked by agent or on own arrangements). You clear customs and immigration formalities and are met opposite the Arrivals Hall by our representative. He will assist you to the transfer vehicle for your transfer to the hotel.

Please note that check-in at the hotel is 1400. Travellers arriving on early morning flights should book a pre-night (at an additional cost) to provide immediate access to their rooms.

DAY 2

Lake Manyara National Park

Following breakfast and your safari briefing, you depart to Lake Manyara National Park arriving at your lodge for lunch. Following lunch and time to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY – TREETOP WALKWAY

You may add a walk on the Treetop Walkway located at the park’s gate giving you a unique vantage point to view the park and wildlife. Additional costs are shown below in the

DAY 3

Serengeti National Park

Depart to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at the camp for lunch. Following lunch and time to enjoy the camp’s facilities, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

Ole Serai Luxury Camp

Morning and afternoon game drives with meals and overnight at the camp. Accommodation Ole Serai Luxury Camp Seronera* on a full board basis (excludes laundry and drinks)

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY – SHARED HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI WITH BUSH BREAKFAST

Shared early transfer to the balloon staging site. You have your safety briefing by the pilot as the crew inflates the envelope. At sunrise, you begin your flight which lasts around 50 minutes. During the flight, you ascend to around 1000 metres to give an overview of the ecosystem and also descend to just a few metres above the treetops to silently observe the wildlife from above. Following your landing, a bush breakfast is set up to celebrate your flight. You then transfer to a meeting point to meet your safari vehicle and driver-guide and game view en route back to the camp arriving for lunch. Additional costs are shown below in the costs section.

DAY 5

Ole Serai Luxury Camp

Morning and afternoon game drives with meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 6

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, game viewing en route. You stop at Olduvai Gorge to view the site where the Leakey Family made their historic discoveries. You continue to your lodge located at the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving for late lunch. Afternoon at leisure with optional activities arranged at the lodge.

DAY 7

Ngorongoro Crater

Early departure and descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. You game drive in this paradise. With a space of only 102 square miles and a resident wildlife population of more than 30,000 mammals, there is a great chance that you might see all of the big five. A lunch box is provided at a picnic site overlooking a small lake populated with hippos. In the afternoon, you return to the rim of the crater and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8

Tarangire National Park

Depart to Tarangire National Park. Begin game viewing once you reach the park gate. Arrive at the lodge for lunch. Following lunch and time to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park

Arusha

Following an early breakfast, you game view as you make your way to the park gate. Travel by road to Arusha City Centre or Arusha Airport to connect with your onward arrangements.
