DAY 1

Arusha VIP Hotel Stay

Arrive to Kilimanjaro International Airport by scheduled flight (flight booked by agent or on own arrangements). You clear customs and immigration formalities and are met opposite the Arrivals Hall by an Elewana representative. He will assist you to the transfer vehicle for your VIP transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2

​Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Following your leisurely breakfast at Arusha Coffee Lodge, you participate in the Bean-to-Cup coffee estate tour where you have the opportunity to see the amount of work that goes into the production of coffee before it reaches your cup. You also visit the Shanga Workshop, a project operated by local Tanzanians who with a variety of disabilities who excel in artistic talent and create a variety of crafts. You have your pre-safari briefing and lunch at the lodge.

Then transfer to nearby Arusha Airport for your flight to Kuro airstrip in the heart of Tarangire National Park.

You are met by your custom safari vehicle for a shared game drive in the park as you make you way to the camp, arriving in the late afternoon. You are treated to a traditional Maasai boma dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 3

Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast at the camp, you have a shared game drive in the park returning for lunch. You then have a shared, escorted bush walk guided by the camp’s naturalist (age restrictions may apply).

Following the bush walk, you visit a Maasai village and then proceed to a viewpoint to enjoy light snacks and a selection of beverages as you watch the sun set over the African bush. You return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

Tarangire National Park - Karatu

Following breakfast at the camp, game drive in Tarangire National Park en route to Kuro airstrip. You stop en route for a picnic lunch. Then fly by the SkySafari airplane to Lake Manyara Airstrip. 

You are met on arrival and travel by road to The Manor at Ngorongoro arriving in time for high tea. The afternoon is at leisure with optional activities available from the lodge (booked and payable directly). Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 5

Lake Manyara

Following Breakfast at The Manor, you depart to Lake Manyara National Park. You game view in this fascinating park, best known for large troupes of olive baboons and the elusive tree-climbing lion. You have the option to travel with a picnic lunch box to have more time in the park or return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you are free to enjoy the grounds and swimming pool of The Manor, take in a movie at the on-site cinema, or optionally go horse riding in the coffee farms or indulge in a spa treatment. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6

Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early breakfast, you depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Ngorongoro Crater. You will game drive in this paradise, with a space of only 102 square miles and a resident wildlife population of more than 30,000 mammals, there is a great chance that you might see all of the big five.

A lunch box is provided at a picnic site overlooking a small lake populated with hippos. In the afternoon, you return to the rim of the crater and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7

Karatu - Serengeti National Park

Following your breakfast, you travel to Lake Manyara airstrip and fly in the SkySafari airplane to Serengeti National Park. You are met on arrival and game view en route to the camp arriving for lunch. Following lunch and time to enjoy the camp’s facilities, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner.

Overnight at the camp, either Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp, depending on the season.

DAY 8

Serengeti National Park

You have a full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park with a bush lunch. In the evening, you return to the camp for dinner under the stars.

Overnight at the camp, either Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp, depending on the season.

DAY 9

Serengeti National Park

You have another full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park with a picnic hamper lunch.

You then head to a vantage point to enjoy a spectacular African sunset with drinks and canapés. You return to the camp for dinner.

Overnight at the camp, either Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp, depending on the season.

Seasonal Accommodation

Information

January to May​

Accommodation Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

June to December​

Accommodation Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

DAY 10

Serengeti National Park to Arusha

Following breakfast at the camp and then a final game drive en route to the airstrip. Fly by the SkySafari flight to Arusha Airport.

You are met on arrival and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch and day use of plantation rooms. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight (flight booked by agent or on own arrangements).
